Life Imitates Art and Vice Versa.  Our Spring 2013 collection is inspired by Hollywood – both by glamour and the fascination with all things supernatural.  From True Blood to loads of recent movies, leather is everywhere.  Last season the ethereal Pam on True Blood rocked lots of amazing leather including one of our sexy red dresses from a past collection.   The costume designer for True Blood, Audrey Fisher looks for costumes from lots of sources including E-Bay to find Pam’s fabulous outfits.   The red dress from last season is a North Beach Leather classic.   This season we are releasing an updated version of our red dress, along with new fitted skirts, low rise skinny pants, and smoking hot fitted short jackets.   Our new collection also combines leather with other fine fabrics for amazing fit and versatility.   For Spring, we are showing a beautiful long body conscious Brazilian dress, short elegant evening dresses, sleek skinny pants and skirts paired with fitted asymmetrical jackets finished with lots of details and hardware.   Structured black and white, deep greys and bright reds continue to dominate the runways.  We have brought back our amazing leather hoody  jackets for ladies and men that easily go from casual to dress up, with the option of a removable hood.

This spring sees the launch of our new Wholesale Division; we will be participating in the East Coast and LA shows this year.

Watch for us to open another boutique in Chicago as soon as we find a great space.   In the past, we were at Water Tower and are looking again at Water Tower and The Shops at North Bridge.  The new boutique will be a combination of West Coast Leather and R-State, our lifestyle brand store for men (and soon for women).
